The Rancho RS5000X RS55814 Suspension Strut is engineered to enhance the handling and performance of 1998 to 2001 Nissan Pathfinder 4WD models. It features Rancho’s Progressive Engagement Valving, which reduces initial impact harshness for a smoother ride. The strut’s 2.13-inch (54.1mm) twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid, ensuring consistent operation across a wide temperature range. A 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod offers increased durability and corrosion resistance. With an extended length of 22.6 inches (574mm) and a compressed length of 15.73 inches (399.5mm), it provides a travel length of 6.87 inches (174.5mm). The gas-charged design minimizes fade and improves vehicle control. Additionally, the strut includes a protective boot to shield the shock rod and oil seal from dirt and debris.
