The Rancho RS5000X RS55393 Suspension Shock Absorber is engineered to enhance the performance and handling of 2000 to 2004 Nissan Xterra models. It features Rancho’s Progressive Engagement Valving, which effectively reduces initial impact harshness for a smoother ride. The shock’s 2-inch (50.8mm) twin-tube body is gas pressurized to 150 PSI, minimizing air-to-oil mixture and preventing foaming and shock fade. A 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod offers increased durability and corrosion resistance. With an extended length of approximately 22.65 inches (575.3mm) and a compressed length of about 14.12 inches (358.6mm), it provides a travel length of 8.53 inches (216.7mm). Additionally, the shock includes a protective boot to shield the shock rod and oil seal from dirt and debris.
