The Rancho RS5000X RS55040 Suspension Shock Absorber is engineered to enhance the ride quality and control of select Toyota Tundra models from 2000 to 2006. It features Rancho’s Progressive Engagement Valving, which provides a smoother response to road impacts. The shock’s 2.25-inch diameter twin-tube body allows for increased fluid capacity, promoting cooler operation and consistent performance. A 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod offers enhanced strength and corrosion resistance. With an extended length of 22.83 inches and a compressed length of 14.57 inches, it provides a travel length of 8.26 inches. The gas pressurization at 150 PSI minimizes air-to-oil mixture, reducing the risk of foaming and shock fade. Additionally, the shock includes a protective boot to shield the rod and oil seal from dirt and debris.
