The Rancho RS5000X RS55006 Suspension Shock Absorber is designed to enhance the ride quality and control of 1995–2004 Toyota Tacoma models without the TRD package. It features Rancho’s Progressive Engagement Valving, which provides a smoother response to road impacts. The shock’s 2.25-inch diameter twin-tube body allows for increased fluid capacity, promoting cooler operation and consistent performance. A 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod offers enhanced strength and corrosion resistance. With a travel length of 6.28 inches (159.5mm), it effectively manages various driving conditions. The gas pressurization at 150 PSI minimizes air-to-oil mixture, reducing the risk of foaming and shock fade. Additionally, the shock includes a protective boot to shield the rod and oil seal from dirt and debris.
